Legal Immigration

Legal immigration takes place when a person enters another nation or area with the permission of the government and citizenry of the area they are entering.

Most legal immigration processes involve applications, fees, and criminal and terrorism background checks. Medical checks are also required for legal immigrants to make sure they do not have any infectious diseases that could harm the citizens of the nation they want to immigrate to.

Most American citizens support legal immigration, just not the current hyper levels of legal immigration at more than 1.5 million per year which is more than any other nation on earth!

Some politicians that support amnesty for illegal immigrants try to use the term legal immigration to mask their amnesty plans.
